SMS terms and consent

These terms cover text messages sent by S4NDO and text messages sent by cleaning companies to their clients and crews through the S4NDO platform. By giving your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, you accept these terms.

Program summary

Program name: S4NDO job and account notifications
Who sends: S4NDO, and cleaning companies using S4NDO to reach their own clients and crews

Frequency: Message frequency varies with your schedule. Most recipients get 2–8 messages per month; companies with daily jobs may receive more

How you opt in

We send text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them. Consent is given in one of these ways:

Ticking the SMS box on the contact form at s4ndo.net and submitting your number.
Giving your number and agreeing to text updates while setting up or using a S4NDO account.
Giving your number to a cleaning company that uses S4NDO, and agreeing to receive job updates from that company — on their booking form, on a service agreement, or verbally when arranging service.
Texting our number first, which we treat as consent to reply.

Consent is never a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to text messages to buy S4NDO or to book a cleaning service. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting your service.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message from us to end all messages from that number. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after it. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, END, CANCEL, QUIT, or STOPALL, or email hello@s4ndo.net and ask us to remove your number.

If you opted in to messages from a cleaning company that uses S4NDO, replying STOP stops that company’s messages to you. It does not cancel the cleaning service itself — contact the company directly to change or cancel service.

To start again after opting out, reply START to the same number, or ask us or your cleaning company to add you back.

Reply HELP to any message for support information, or email hello@s4ndo.net. Support requests are answered within one business day.

Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and network conditions, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives. Do not rely on text messages for urgent or emergency matters.

Your privacy

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text-message originator opt-in data and consent records are not shared with any third party. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging providers and carriers strictly required to deliver the messages you asked for, and those providers may use the data only to deliver them.

We keep a record of your consent, including when and how it was given, and a record of any opt-out. We retain these records for at least four years, as messaging regulations require. Everything else about how we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.

Responsibilities of cleaning companies using S4NDO

If you are a S4NDO customer sending messages to your own clients and crews, you are responsible for:

Obtaining and recording clear consent from every recipient before sending them a message.
Sending only the kinds of messages the recipient agreed to receive.
Honouring opt-out requests immediately, including requests made to your staff by phone or in person.
Complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, CTIA messaging principles, applicable state law, and Canadian anti-spam legislation where relevant.

S4NDO processes opt-outs automatically when a recipient replies STOP, and blocks further messages to that number from your account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and we will notify customers of material changes before they take effect.
